Dr. Beheram Mehta - Director
Dr. Beheram Mehta believes in the power of transformation to influence lives positively. He has done extensive research in lifestyles modification for health and well being and conducts workshops on Management of Chronic Diseases and Lifestyle Management.
Along with his team, he has achieved widespread success at national and international levels in the provision of medical knowledge and counselling to thousands of people as well as various corporates. Participants in his training programs and workshops are encouraged to achieve their Ideal Performance State.
He addresses health at all levels - Physical, Psychological, Emotional, Social and Spiritual, and supports the participants to make right lifestyle and relationship choices. Most importantly, his writings and workshops make the participants responsible for themselves, their team members, their company, their society and their world. Dr. Ashwani Bhugra - Director, MENA region and Europe
Professional with varied experience in international corporations like Walmart International, Castrol Canada and Maple Leaf Canada for the past 16 years in different countries including Asia Pacific, Middle East and North America, especially in the area of international marketing and business development, Operations, project handling, import export management and cost and quality management. Master’s degree in retail operations besides that completed certification in Business management, financial management, Materials Management and International business from York University, Canada.
Dr. B. Rajesh Srinivas - Head, Global Operations
Dr. Srinivas has been one of the key personnel involved in Sohum’s flourishing and evolution into an extremely sought after wellness and spa experience. A Naturopath by qualification, he has earned international accolades from Zurich and London and has close to two decades of experience in the wellness sector.
He has been instrumental in helping Sohum receive national and international glory though multiple awards. It now functions as the hot favourite choice amongst health clubs and spas for multiple five star hotel chains like the Crowne Plaza, Movenpick and Radisson.
He ensures that Sohum maintains its excellent standard and maintains its unique essence that has been cultivated carefully over the years. His print and visual media appearances and his stint as the founding member of the Indian Spa and Wellness Association have aided the brand Sohum.
Dr. Neelesh S. Taware - Head, Ayurveda
Dr. Neelesh who has actively studied Ayurveda, believes in edifying it to the world. To achieve this he has conducted lectures, training programs and workshops of Ayurvedic education across a host of universities within and outside India as well.
A graduate of the Mittle Stufe Drei at Max Müller Bhavan in India, his brilliant start from the Tilak Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya eventually led him to hold honorary consultant positions in Ayurveda at Ayurveda in der Müller Strasse, Germany and Ayurveda Praxis, Germany.
Starting of his career as an Ayurvedic Physician in Pune, Bangalore and then Germany at Ludwigsburg, Freiburg and Munich in various schools as honorary guest lecturer of Ayurveda, he also practices as an online Ayurvedic consultant and is fluent in Marathi, English, Hindi and German and has participated in several cultural sensitization volunteer programs as well.
Dr. Kalpana Rao - Head, Lifestyle
With multiple degrees of MBBS, PPHC, FHHC and DHHM and experience at renowned hospitals like BARC, Holy Family, Nair, MGM, Cooper and Lilavati under her belt, Dr. Kalpana is a valuable member of the core team of Sohum since the year 2007.
She specializes in provision of expatriate healthcare and is associated with many brands as a Medical Consultant.
With her vast experience of handling patients from different continents as a medical doctor, she advises the national and international clientele of Sohum Wellness in her capacity as anti-ageing advisor of its various facilities.
Dr. Yogesh Prabhakaran - Vice President, Spa Operations
Dr. Yogesh has been responsible for the consistency of delivery by Sohum spa and its various entities over the years. Hailing from Kerala, this dynamic Ayurveda practitioner started his career interning at The Leela group, Marriott Hotels group and The Oberoi Hotels and Palaces.
Having accumulated more than 20 years of experience in the wellness industry, he has now made a name for himself as one its most successful professionals experienced in all its various aspects.
Working with Sohum to develop the business of wellness as one that delivers on a sensory brand level, he handles day to day spa operations at various locations as well as maintenance of service standards pan the Sohum wellness sector.
He is instrumental in guiding the Sohum team towards its many successes by provision of a wonderful work environment to help them cater to the intricacies of achieving expectations of guests.
Mr. Srinivas Murthy - General Manager, Training and Operations
Mr. Srinivas Murthy has worked with Sohum to enhance its image, products and brand value and has over 15 years of experience in the wellness and spa sector. He also has a number of national and international certifications from CIDESCO, CIBTAC, etc. in Ayurveda, Yoga, spa and aesthetic therapies under his belt.
Under his aegis, Sohum training academies have been set up in Bali and Thailand to ensure well trained personnel who can provide wellness experiences far exceeding the expectations of guests and business partners.
Youngsters who undergo training at academies opened by Sohum under his guidance in association with the Sikkim and Manipur government as well as various private and government organizations have found rewarding positions in various Sohum destinations all over the world.
